The Mystery of Jesus (Salvation) – The Hope that I Have:

If you were to die tomorrow, on a scale from 1-10, (1 being not confident at all and 10 being 100% sure), how confident are you that you will go to heaven? What is the basis for your confidence level? For me, when I die, my confidence level in an 11!!

Here is the basis for my confidence:

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:16-17)

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! (Philippians 2:6-8)

He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)

All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God(Ephesians 2:3-8)

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the deadyou will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” (Romans 10:9-11)

Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:34-39)

These are a collection of Bible verses that explain the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ who is the Hope of Salvation. This is the Hope I have, The Confidence, that I will not perish and live eternity separated from God (Hell), but instead will live eternity WITH God in heaven!

I hope that, if haven’t already done so, you will accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and be saved from death and be guaranteed eternity in heaven with Him as opposed to eternity in hell apart from Him. It’s never too late to make that decision, as long as there is breath in your lungs and blood pumping through your veins there is still time, but why wait; there is no time like the present! What is holding you back from making the most important decision you will EVER make?

If you are ready, here is an example of a prayer to ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior and secure your eternity: (There are no magic in the words, but for it to be legit, it must be genuine and come from your heart, i.e. you must mean it).

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.”
